SÉRIE/ EUA: Nova série mostra Lúcifer “bonzinho” e Deus “entediado”

O anjo Lúcifer, também conhecido por Diabo ou Satanás, se cansa do inferno e decide vira para a Terra abrir um bar em Los Angeles (chamada de Cidade dos Anjos). Detalhe: ele é bom, apenas mal compreendido por seu “pai” (Deus). Parece absurdo? Essa é história por trás do novo seriado do canal norte-americano Fox.

O primeiro episódio ainda não foi no ar. Bastou a Fox começar a divulgar, que surgiram diferentes protestos e pedidos de cancelamento. Uma petição on-line foi lançada pela Associação da Família Americana, através do grupo conhecido como “Um milhão de mães”. Eles exigem que o seriado “Lucifer”, que só deve estrear em 2016, pare de “zombar da Bíblia.”

A ideia da série é baseada numa história em quadrinhos de relativo sucesso nos EUA. Esse Lúcifer (interpretado por Tom Ellis) que é bonzinho e está entediado e infeliz no reino do inferno, cria um bar/clube chamado “Lux”, onde as pessoas vão para dançar e se divertir. Ele também ajuda a polícia de Los Angeles a prender criminosos.

No material já divulgado pela Fox, o Diabo é alguém “charmoso, carismático e diabolicamente belo” que está curtindo essa aposentadoria na Terra cercado de “vinho, mulheres e música.”

Por outro lado, a série mostra Deus como um ser infeliz que não aceita a decisão de Lúcifer e por isso envia um anjo chamado Amenadiel para convencer Satanás a voltar para o inferno.

“O programa descaracteriza Satanás, afasta-se dos verdadeiros ensinamentos bíblicos sobre ele, e retrata de maneira imprecisa as crenças da fé cristã,” afirma a petição on-line contra a Fox.

De acordo com as mais de 14 mil pessoas que assinaram a petição, a série “glorifica Satanás”. A organização cristã já fez campanhas semelhantes no passado, de seriados que acabaram cancelados pela baixa audiência.

A polêmica por enquanto não gerou anúncio de cancelamento de Lucifer. Pelo contrário, mais de 3 milhões de visitas ao trailer oficial no Youtube mostra que a série nem estreou e já tem um público interessado.

Vem aí um filme que promete muito sucesso com o público cristão. Trata-se de "My name is Paul", onde o subtítulo afirma que "em toda história existe sempre dois lados". Segundo a roteirista e atriz da produção,Vanessa Ore, o Brasil está na lista Top 10 para a distribuição do longa.
O filme (em Português: Meu Nome é Paulo) é uma versão contemporânea (e cheia de ação!) da história de Paulo de Tarso, perseguidor ferrenho daqueles que seguiam “o Caminho” e que, mais tarde, seria um dos mais destacados apóstolos de Jesus.

FILME: Persecuted - Filme mostra perseguição moderna a cristãos americanos

Em julho os cinemas americanos exibirão o filme “Persecuted” [Perseguidos], uma obra que narra em tempos modernos uma perseguição aos cristãos.

Na trama, o aclamado evangelista John Luther (James Remar) será considerado pelo governo como o último obstáculo para acabar com o cristianismo nos Estados Unidos.

Uma lei chamada de “Lei da Fé” tenta impor a todas as religiões que elas não se apresentem como portadoras da Verdade para em troca receberem financiamento do governo federal com o objetivo de “construir juntos um futuro comum de paz e harmonia”.

John Luther não aceita deixar de pregar que Jesus é o único caminho para se chegar à Deus e passa a se tornar um grande problema para o senador Donald Harrison (Bruce Davison) que vai criar um plano para se livrar do pastor.
Para tirar a confiança das pessoas em Luther e na sua mensagem, o senador Harrison cria um plano para acusá-lo de ter assassinado uma adolescente, gerando uma grande perseguição.

O evangelista consegue fugir e tenta encontrar provas que mostrem sua inocência, uma missão que irá ameaçar toda a comunidade cristã norte-americana.

Ele terá apoio do padre Charles Luther (Fred Thompson) que mais tarde irá se revelar com o pai biológico do pastor, um filho que ele teve antes de ser ordenado como padre.

O filme é uma indicação para todos os cristãos feita John Zimak, da Aleteia, que compara a perseguição mostrada em “Persecuted” com a perseguição que milhões de cristãos enfrentam nos mais diferentes países do mundo.

“‘Persecuted’ apresenta cruamente a pressão rasteira e inexorável que os cristãos enfrentam, as tentações sórdidas que lentamente nos corrompem e o ódio implacável que a fé sincera sempre provoca. E o filme faz isso de uma forma projetada para unir católicos e protestantes em defesa da reivindicação cristã”, escreveu Zimak em um artigo.

Encontrei uma nova série nos EUA, que os leitores de ficção cristã por lá afirmam que deveria ser levada às telonas. Trata-se da série de 3 livros intitulada "The River of Time" (O Rio do Tempo), da escritora Lisa T. Bergren.

Essa série conta a história de duas irmãs, Gabi e Lia, que são filhas de arqueologistas. Uma delas, acidentalmente, toca em algo que revela uma passagem secreta num castelo, abrindo um portal para o século XIV, na Itália. Lá ela vai encontrar cavaleiros, damas, batalhas, muitos perigos e, é claro, o amor!

LIVRO/ EUA/ SÉRIE: Nova série de sucesso de Francine Rivers, autora de "Amor de Redenção"

Quem gosta das obras da escritora Francine Rivers? Com certeza quem já leu alguma de suas obras se emocionou e virou grande admirador de sua escrita. Quem já leu "Amor de Redenção", então, nem se fala!
Pois bem. Pesquisando um pouco sobre as ficções cristãs mais queridas nos EUA, descobri que os livros dela estão nas primeiras posições no site Goodreads.

Ted Dekker é um consagrado escritor de ficção cristã dos EUA - escritor best seller do New York Times -, que já vendeu milhões de exemplares de seus livros (impresso e digital) nos Estados Unidos e em outros países. Aqui no Brasil o conhecemos em apenas três trabalhos: Three, Trovões do Paraíso e O Fim do Jogo (este em parceria com Frank Peretti). Entretanto, nos EUA Ted Dekker já lançou vários livros que ainda não apareceram por aqui. Agora ele lançou (dia 18/02) o primeiro episódio para ser baixado gratuitamente de sua nova série - Water Walker. FILME: Noé tem teaser e poster divulgados.

Foram anunciados novo teaser e poster do filme Noé, que será protagonizado pelo autor Russell Crowe. Na trama, em um mundo dominado pelo pecado, Noé (Russell Crowe) recebe uma missão divina: construir uma arca para salvar toda a criação de Deus de um dilúvio. Um grupo de opositores a Noé, porém, tenta se apossar da Arca em nome da defesa da raça humana e, ao mesmo tempo, luta para cooptar para o seu lado Ham (Logan Lerman), o primogênito de Noé.


Emma Watson, do filme Harry Potter, viverá Ila, garota que se relaciona com um dos filhos de Noé, Shem. Winstone será o líder do grupo, Madison Davenport faz a esposa se Ham, Jennifer Connelly será Naame e Anthony Hopkins viverá Matusalém, o homem mais velho do mundo.

Noé estreia em 28 de março nos EUA e 4 de abril de 2014 no Brasil.

Filme “Noé” é reprovado por espectadores de diversas religiões Com estreia prevista para abril de 2014, o filme “Noé”, do diretor Darren Aronofsky, foi testado com fiéis de religiões diferentes e o resultado foi que o corte mais recente do longa não agradou a maioria dos espectadores.

A Paramount Pictures testou a audiência com judeus em Nova York, cristãos de Arizona e um público geral em Orange County. Para controlar a rejeição do público o estúdio deve refazer o corte final preservando as características independentes que marcam o trabalho de Aronofsky conhecido por dar um visual bem sombrio à suas produções.

Darren assina grandes obras do cinema como o filme “Cisne Negro” lançado em 2011 rendendo diversas indicações ao Oscar e levando o prêmio de Melhor Atriz dado à Natalie Portman que foi a personagem principal do longa-metragem.
Atores de peso fazem parte do filme que contará a história bíblica de Noé, entre eles Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins e Emma Watson. O filme vai narrar toda a vida de Noé, incluindo a passagem da Arca onde ele e sua família embarcam com casais de espécies animais de todos os tamanhos.

Filme evangelístico faz sucesso, mas é boicotado por católicos.

Kirk Cameron ficou conhecido por estrelar a trilogia “Deixados para Trás”. Recentemente, além de sua carreira ator iniciou como produtor no documentário Unstoppable [Imparável] para, em suas próprias palavras: “Mostrar que “a vida é mais forte que a morte e a fé mais forte que a dúvida”.

O documentário apresentado por ele teve reprodução simultânea em 700 salas de cinema norte-americanos esta semana, arrecadando US$ 2 milhões na última terça-feira, um número surpreendente por se tratar de um documentário, gênero com pouco sucesso nas bilheterias. Para efeitos de comparação, foi equivalente ao número de pessoas que foram ver “Prisoner”, novo filme de Hugh Jackman e Jake Gyllenhaal.

Seu grande sucesso não surpreendeu Cameron, que reuniu-se para apresentar o longa a cerca de 10 mil estudantes universitários que foram assistir o filme junto com ele na Liberty University, maior faculdade evangélica do país.

Os temas centrais do filme, que conta um pouco da vida de Cameron, são a dor, o sofrimento e o amor de Deus pela humanidade. Ex-ateu, o ator e produtor se dispôs a responder uma das perguntas mais frequentes da vida: “Por que Deus permite que coisas ruins aconteçam a pessoas boas?”

Certamente o material lança um olhar muito pessoal sobre o papel de Deus na vida dos seres humanos, começando pela tragédia e sofrimento experimentados no Jardim do Éden. A partir daí, leva os espectadores através da narrativa bíblica para mostrar que a mão Deus esteve permanentemente em cada cenário histórico e contemporâneo.

Cameron conta que sua motivação foi seu jovem amigo Matthew, que morreu de câncer no início do ano com apenas 15 anos. Após compareceram ao seu funeral, o ator decidiu usar a dor da perda precoce de uma vida para usá-la no centro do roteiro de “Imparável”.

Através das redes sociais, “Imparável” teve uma divulgação intensa e o que deveria ser uma apresentação apenas na Liberty, tornou-se um evento nacional, com mais de 150 mil ingressos vendidos. Por causa da ampla procura, uma nova exibição nos cinemas foi programada para 03 de outubro. De acordo com o comunicado de imprensa, serão 660 cinemas. Em muitos deles os ingressos já esgotaram. Em breve o filme deve ser lançado em DVD e BluRay e receber legendas em diversas línguas.

Porém, a trajetória do documentário não foi isenta de problemas. Claramente com o foco na evangelização, a exibição de seu trailer foi censurada pelo Facebook e pelo YouTube em julho.

O motivo foram queixas de usuários que denunciaram o material como “spam”, “abusivo” e “enganoso”. Só voltou ao normal após uma ameaça de processo judicial e os pedidos de mais de 250 mil usuários das redes. Para Cameron, a polêmica acabou ajudando a promover o longa e como ele escreveu na época: “o mundo pode ver que as comunidades de fé, esperança e amor são… imparáveis”.

Além do cinema, Cameron apresentou a série “Way of the Master” [Caminho do Mestre] com o conhecido evangelista Ray Confort. Produzida pelo ministério Living Waters, o mesmo que produziu o polêmico filme “Evolução versus Deus”.

Por causa disso, Imparável acabou sendo vítima de um pedido de boicote por parte dos católicos de Chicago. O motivo é que Comfort e Cameron em um desses programas afirmavam que “os católicos não são cristãos” e diziam que eles precisavam verdadeiramente aceitar a Jesus como seu único salvador. Contudo, afirmavam que uma vez que isso ocorresse as pessoas precisariam abandonar a Igreja Católica por causa da adoração aos ídolos defendida pelo Vaticano.

Embora não tenha se pronunciado oficialmente sobre o caso, Kirk Cameron parece acostumado a enfrentar retaliação por causa de suas convicções. Ano passado deu uma entrevista a Piers Morgan, da CNN, onde condenou o casamento gay e afirmou que a homossexualidade é algo “prejudicial e altamente destrutivo para vários pilares da nossa civilização”. FILME/ EUA: Partes do seriado "A Bíblia" se tornarão em "O Filho de Deus", um filme sobre Jesus.

“O filho de Deus” será um dos grandes lançamentos do cinema em 2014.

Um filme sobre Jesus chegará às telas de cinema do mundo todo em 2014. O estúdio 20th Century Fox assinou um contrato com Roma Downey e Mark Burnett, produtores da minissérie “A Bíblia”.

Eles irão usar as partes da série que mostram a vida de Jesus e mais algumas cenas inéditas. O nome será “Filho de Deus”. A película mostrará a história de Cristo desde o seu nascimento até a ressurreição. O estúdio aposta que será um dos grandes lançamentos do cinema do ano que vem.

“Agradecemos o interesse de outras distribuidoras, mas a Fox foi a escolha certa para nós”, disse Burnett. ”Este filme merece um grande estúdio por trás dele. Temos trabalhado para que seja uma experiência totalmente emocional, que dê esperança ao público”.

“A Bíblia”, que irá ao ar em outubro no Brasil pela Rede Record, chegou este mês ao mercado de DVDs e BlueRays nos EUA. Já vendeu mais de 1 milhão de unidades, o que a torna a produção televisiva mais vendida dos últimos dois anos, ultrapassando as vendas de seriados consagrados. Também se tornou a minissérie de TV mais vendida de todos os tempos no formato digital.

Mark Burnett é casado com Roma Downey, que além de produtora vive Maria, mãe de Jesus na série. Produzido de maneira independente, foi ao ar pelo canal a cabo History. Seu sucesso rendeu um contrato com a NBC, uma dos maiores canais de TV aberta do mundo. Eles irão produzir uma espécie de continuação chamada “AD: Além da Bíblia”, que focará os relatos bíblicos de Atos a Apocalipse.

Quando foi ao ar em março, ninguém sabia como seria a resposta do público, mas a média de telespectadores a tornou a série mais vista do ano na TV a cabo.

Roma Downey e Mark Burnett entendem que é mais que uma produção, é um testemunho de fé.
